The next Paws For Brittany fun run/dog walk is Saturday, May 11th 2024.

2023 – On a cloudy and somewhat rainy Saturday morning, May 13, 160 participants and their pets joined family and friends of Brittany at Wildwood Park. Many thanks to all who attended. We raised over $22,000 to help our animals at MAPS thanks to our incredible event sponsors and one very generous $5,000 donor! Click here for the 2023 event photos.
2022 – Another beautiful Saturday morning! On May 7, 180 participants and their pets gathered at Wildwood Park to honor Brittany. More than $18,000 was raised to help the animals at the Marshfield Area Pet Shelter. (Click here for the 2022 event photo gallery!)
2021 – On a beautiful, but chilly Saturday morning on May 8, 137 participants and their pets joined us to remember Brittany and walk in her honor. More than $9,400 was raised to help the animals at MAPS. Click here to view our 2021 event photos.
2020 – Our annual Paws for Brittany event was canceled due to COVID 19. However, to honor Brittany, we encouraged everyone to participate social-distance style, virtually. We also created a one-of-a-kind event t-shirt that could be purchased online to support the shelter.
2019 – The 6th annual event to remember Brittany which included a special tribute to our good friend Duane Kulke was held on May 11, 2019. 215 participants and their pets attended. 2018 – On a cool, but sunny Saturday morning on May 12, 2018, more than 220 participants and their pets gathered at Wildwood Park & Zoo for a fun run/dog walk to honor the memory of pet lover, Brittany Zimmerman. 2017 – The 4th annual Paws for Brittany event was held on May 13, 2017 at Wildwood Park & Zoo. Friends and family of Kevin & Jean Zimmermann (Brittany’s parents) and supporters of the Marshfield Area Pet Shelter united to remember Brittany and raise money to help animals. 2016 – On a beautiful Saturday morning on May 7, 2016, more than 200 participants and their pets gathered at Wildwood Park & Zoo for the 3rd annual fun run/dog walk to honor the memory of pet lover, Brittany Zimmerman. 2015 – On May 9, 2015, the 2nd annual Paws For Brittany walk was again held at Wildwood Park. Despite the inclement weather, more than 250 pets and people again walked in memory of Brittany and more than $11,000 was raised for MAPS. Hosting the event this year was Mike Warren from WDLB Radio, and other new features included music, a balloon release, blessing from Pastor Daryn Bahn (Christ Lutheran Church), bandannas, and door prizes. 2014 – On a bright and sunny Saturday morning on May 10, 2014, more than 300 participants and their pets gathered at Wildwood Park & Zoo for an inaugural fun run/dog walk to honor the memory of pet lover, Brittany Zimmerman.
